Androscoggin Head Start

Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care's Early Head Start program is offered to children ages 6 weeks to 3. Parents/guardians must be employed or attending educational or job training. Fees are low and are based on monthly gross income.

This program is available year round. Classrooms open at 6:30 AM, and close at 5:30 PM. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are served.

Please bring to the appointment:

Child's birth certificate (if mother is currently pregnant, child's anticipated date of birth is sufficient to begin application process)
Social Security numbers for every member of the household
4 weeks consecutive pay stubs for every working member of the household (if paid bi-weekly, 2 consecutive pay stubs)
Proof of household income
School schedule for any household member continuing their education
Maine Driver's license or State photo ID
Child's immunization record (may be obtained from child's Doctor's Office, and faxed directly to the enrollment office, 795-4089)
Maine Care Card (if applicable)
TANF statement (if applicable)
Copy of Child Support order (if applicable)
