The $2.6 million center was built by the Lewiston Housing Authority with a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and with grants and loans from the City of Lewiston, Sisters of Charity Health System and Empower Lewiston. It houses Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care, the B Street Health Clinic, meeting space, and other non-profit organizations.
